On 11th November 2010, Imperial College Press celebrated fifteen years as one of the UK's leading STM publishers.
Held at the beautiful Victorian Queen's Gate building, adjacent to Imperial College, the party was attended by some of the company's authors, past and present. Joining staff for wine, canapés and a specially commissioned cake bearing the ICP logo, were the chair of the Editorial Advisory Board, Professor David Phillips CBE and Dr Mary Archer, Chairwoman of Addenbrooke's NHS Trust, Cambridge, as well as professors Peter Childs, Jenny Nelson and Hilary Glasman-Deal, among others.
Laurent Chaminade made a short presentation and guests took part in a quiz to win a bottle of wine. Some of our most prestigious publications were on display, along with endorsements from satisfied authors.
The evening's event allowed editorial and marketing staff to meet some of the authors whose books they worked on and who have played an enormous part in the success of Imperial College Press over the past fifteen years.
