My most recent book publishing experience — my third with Imperial College Press--was outstanding in every respect: extraordinarily rapid publication, sophisticated design and editorial team, and a real pleasure to deal with responsible, responsive, and efficient publisher's staff. I am bound to return!

I have had two books published by ICP and have found the staff to be very efficient and helpful on both occasions. I happen to travel to Singapore quite regularly, so the link with World Scientific Press is especially beneficial, allowing opportunities to talk directly with the production and managerial staff. The marketing personnel have been especially industrious and full of ideas on publicity, and I would definitely recommend ICP (or World Scientific Press) to other authors.

Surfing the internet one November Friday afternoon, I chanced on a questionnaire of the ICP. I filled it in, and despatched it at 2.30 pm. A reply arrived at 5.30 pm (on the selfsame Friday afternoon!), saying "We are interested".

Efficiency? Very likely.

Good taste? Most certainly.

That was the start. The finale was a splendid, well-attended launch party, after which a most helpful member of the editorial staff proclaimed that it had been accompanied by "a roaring trade".

And in between?

There was help and advice; there were several meetings, laced by an unaccustomed punctuality. Last, but not least, there was the production of a cover that made the book.

I've always enjoyed working with Imperial College Press. I particularly like the friendly approach and great deal of flexibility to accommodate the various idiosyncrasies of their authors.
